Seborrheic keratoses are noncancerous (benign) skin growths that some people develop as they age. They often appear on the back or chest, but can occur on any part of the body. Seborrheic keratoses grow slowly, in groups or singly. Most people will develop at least one seborrheic keratosis during their lifetime.

Most acne can be treated with medication. If your acne does not respond well to medication, alternative therapies like chemical peels and lasers can help. Some patients respond to superficial chemical peels while others with more significant acne may consider treatment with lasers. More patients are considering lasers as an alternative treatment for medication resistant acne.

Melasma is a common skin problem. This condition causes dark, discolored patches on your skin. The patches are darker than your typical skin color. It typically occurs on the face and is symmetrical, with matching marks on both sides of your face. Other areas of your body that are often exposed to sun can also develop melasma.

Freckles, or ephelides, are small speckled deposits of pigment in the epidermis (upper layer of the skin), usually caused by sun damage or regular sun exposure. The laser freckle removal procedure works by targeting the melanin in your skin. The laser light is selectively absorbed by the pigment in the freckles, which heats up the pigment in the freckles and breaks up the pigment into tiny particles which can then be removed from the skin as part of your skin’s natural exfoliation process.

Rosacea, or acne rosacea, is a type of non-contagious skin inflammation that typically affects the face. The small surface blood vessels (capillaries) of the skin enlarge, giving an appearance of a permanent flush. Unlike acne, rosacea does scar. Our laser technology is used to treat the redness associated with Rosacea.
